SNAWKLOR
VORTICES
DYLAN MARTORELL
saturday 13 Feb 2010
1:00pm
FREE
THEATRE
Ian Potter Centre
NGV AUSTRALIA
Federation Sq Melbourne
The theatre is behind the bookshop
Above are some of John Nixon's Paintings from his recent Anna Schwarz show.
He has been curating a series of experimental music shows in a lecture theatre at the gallery which has included Marco Fuscinato, Paeces, Oren Ambarchi and Always. He has asked Snawklor to play along side two of its constituant parts. Firstly Dylan Martorell playing home made instruments in which he transmutes junk into beautiful sound and occasionally back again.Followed by Vortices- Nathan Gray's solo synth project which explores the visceral pulsations and crying circuit sounds available from pure synthesis. Top this off with one of our increasingly popular meterisch freak out jams with newbie drummer Duncan Blachford and you got yourself a bargain.
